Community Health Volunteers in Kibera

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when much of the world came to a standstill, Community Health Volunteers stepped up as first responders in Kibera, with support from AMREF UK. On the frontlines of one of Nairobi’s most densely populated informal settlements, they worked tirelessly to ensure their communities remained informed, protected, and cared for.
